After painting a piece inspired by David Bowie, I wanted to create a something inspired by his wife, Iman. I wanted to capture something about her grace, elegance, and poise, as well as her startling beauty. The eyes were too hard at first- they took a bit of extra work to achieve a more dreamy, other-worldly quality.
